WHITNEY MURDOCH

Working Homes LLC Program Manager

Whitney’s  journey began in Oregon, and after graduating in Family Psychology and Counseling, she embarked on a career in social services. However, her path took her to various locations, from China to Alaska, where she honed her skills in construction, restoration, motherhood, and entrepreneurship, owning businesses like The Dig Sisters Garden and Landscape Company, Gary West Meats Jerky Company, and Horn Creek Farms. Whitney's extensive experience and keen project management abilities have led to successful projects, ranging from oceanfront cottages to historical farm restorations.

Whitney's passion for the outdoors and her commitment to community were further highlighted when she joined the Blue Mountain Long Term Disaster Recovery Group after the devastating Wallowa Hailstorm in 2022. Her dedication to rebuilding lives and homes spurred a profound realization about the importance of safe housing.
