City of Enterprise

Working Homes is exploring the EM&M Building downtown Enterprise, which we have under contract and tentatively plan to acquire by the end of 2024. This three-story building was built in the early 1900s and holds 27 residential apartments and six commercial spaces. Our goal with this building is to preserve some of the last remaining non-subsidized affordable apartments that help meet workforce housing needs. We are already working with the current owner and Energy Trust of Oregon to install energy-efficient ductless heat pumps to reduce heating costs and provide cooling options. We will partner with Restore Oregon to develop a longer-term improvement plan and budget over the first half of 2024.
